Greetings from the principal’s office! My name is Mrs. Imig and I am school administrator at St. Agnes Academy. Aside from being a full-time wife and mother of two, I find myself roaming the halls of St. Agnes looking for ways to support our outstanding teachers and staff. I wear many hats at St. Agnes and have learned that no amount of planning can prepare me for all that happens here daily.

My administrative responsibilities include lunchroom duty, scheduling, budgeting, teacher observation and evaluation, fundraising and trouble shooting. I work closely with our maintenance supervisor to assure building safety and efficiency. I attend all Parent Inc. meetings as well as School Board meetings and serve as liaison between the staff and parents, governing bodies and special services providers. I am responsible for curriculum updating as well as allocating teacher enrichment funding. I deal with student behavior issues and keep close eye on academic performance and learning challenges. I sponsor the St. Agnes Academy Student Council and am chairperson for the wreath sales fundraiser.

Along with administrative duties I teach two grade level art classes weekly. This year I have the privilege of teaching the 8th grade and the 4th grade. I enjoy the opportunity to continue teaching immensely.

My educational background includes a BA from the University of Nebraska, a BS from Chadron State College, a MA from Colorado State and an administrative endorsement from Chadron State. I have taught in 6 different school districts in two states, both Nebraska and Colorado.

In my spare time (ha, ha!) I enjoy drawing, watercolor painting, reading and walking. I consider myself to be enormously blessed and feel it very important to share my good fortune with others whenever possible.
