Mrs. Angela Kaping grew up in Alliance and moved back 11 years ago to raise her family. She if married to Jeff Kaping and together they have 3 children, Kaden who goes to Alliance High School and  Kyler and Kylee attend St. Agnes.

Mrs. Kaping has been working as the Librarian at St. Agnes for the past 4 years.

Mrs. Kaping sees all the students on a weekly basis, even the preschool classes come down to the library to learn library rules and listen to a story. So be sure to ask your child what they are learning or reading about in the library!!

Mrs. Kaping has implemented the STAR READING and ACCELERATED READER programs here at St. Agnes. All students 1st thru 8th participate in the programs.

Mrs. Kaping has also been entering book data into a computer program that in return will be an automated card catalog for the library. In the future the St. Agnes Academy Library will be an automated library just like the public library.

Some of the tasks Mrs. Kaping has from day to day are imputing book data, printing book labels and shelf cards. Maintaining and updating the Accelerated Reader and the Star Reader programs. Repairing and reshelshelving books is a daily task. Mrs. Kaping also sees

Classes everyday, either for library time of for Accelerated Reading tests. She does the ordering of all new librart books and AR quizzes .

All new material whether books, videos or AR quizzes have to be imputed into the libraries computer program before they are available for check out.

NEEDED: The library is in need of clear contact paper, to cover new paperback books!!! Your generosity would be greatly appreciated!!
